Toddler OOTD #24 - At the new house

The first day we went to see our new home it was nice and sunny. As my husband and our electrician were having a chat in the kitchen about what needs to be done, I took our little one out to play in her garden. So much open space, so much fun. She danced around the rotary airer, tried to sip my frappucino, found some little rocks to deposit them in the downpipes, ran around the back garden and enjoyed her new home.

Now, we aren't moving in yet, and there are huge amounts of things that need to be done, but, surely the fact that she seems to love the house is a good sign. Once we have properly finished with the house renovations (which will take a while granted) it will be such an amazing place. And such a perfect little place for her to have fun in.

She seemed excited about playing in the back garden. It is nothing fancy, all paved and very low maintenance, which I suppose is good considering our track record with gardens...

Lots of little rocks to play with! Plenty of room to run around in!

Denim pinafore from Asda
T-shirt with bows from H&M
Shoes - Clarks

And a little place to rest when feeling a bit tired - it is all there!

What do you think of the outfit?

  2. Hello lady! long time no speak - love this out fit! There's something seriously cute about girls in denim dresses. Cool but still girly! Are those little shoes practical? I've always avoided for my daughter because I'm worried they'd get grubby after a day at nursery! xx

    1. Well hello there Georgina :) it has been a while! Pinafores and dungarees are the cutest, so adorable on little kids... Definitely one of my favs. Canvas shoes are alright - you can easily wash them in a washing machine when they get grubby. But in nursery probably best to wear sneakers or something more practical I'd imagine. :)

    1. It still shocks me everyday, seeing how much she has grown and how she has become a big independent little girl. It is so lovely though as you can see her personality emerging, and she is lots of fun too :) As for the house, work in progress... Thanks for hosting!

    1. Thank you :) once the whole house is complete and we have moved in I will share some before and after pictures - the house is going through a massive change so it's taking a while to get it to moving stage.

  8. How exciting about your new house! I bet you just want to be in it now. House stuff always seems to take forever! Oh my goodness her hair is just gorgeous. Those ringlets are beautiful! That denim pinafore is so cute and fits her so well. It looks great with the tights and floral shoes. What a little sweetheart!! Thank so much for linking up with us and hope you have a fab weekend! xx #weekendbabystyle

Yeah the house stuff is taking forever, and because we are doing so much to the house (in hindsight I think we didn't realise quite how much we would have to do) so it is taking even longer than forever!

I do love those little ringlets an proper curls on babies and toddlers, they are so cute when they run around and the curls bounce around :) I'm glad she had them - both me and hubby had them as kids too.
